Vincent: We can be the best!
There has been a lot of good work done in Vincent, but their own report tells us that the community is generally not happy with the Council.
With your support, I believe I can turn that around and make our Council the most dynamic and inclusive in WA.

My pledge to you is, if elected, I will:
Bring the community into the decision making process from the beginning, getting all competing interests working together to provide practical solutions;
Support our exciting Urban Villages; Council must match the energy of local businesses by sponsoring festivals, markets and the best in street furniture and art;
Overhaul the City's administration so we get timely decisions.
Getting a decision should not be so hard for residents and businesses;Deliver a long overdue new town planning scheme that will give us a green city that celebrates its heritage while allowing creative new development;
Get the best use of our parks - bringing together sporting clubs and dog walkers to negotiate common sense sharing of facilities; given our density, investment in our parks must be a priority;
Planning for the growing number of young families; Council needs to be leading the charge to press for more schools and by providing playgrounds that excite and extend our kids; and
Reduce the City's energy consumption. Local Government should take the lead in energy efficiency and renewable energy - reducing carbon and costs.
My Action plan to get Vincent moving
Develop smarter ways of involving the community - getting all competing interests working together to provide practical solutions;
Support our brilliant Urban Villages. Council must match the energy of local businesses by sponsoring street festivals, markets and by putting imagination into our streetscaping;
Overhaul the City’s administration so we get timely decisions. Getting a decision should not be so hard for residents and businesses;
Deliver a long overdue new town planning scheme to give us a green city that celebrates its heritage while allowing creative new development;
Increase investment and creative planning for our parks. As our population grows so does the pressure on our parks – access to quality green spaces for sport and for our dogs is a priority;
Planning for the growing number of young families. The Council needs to lead the charge to press for more schools, more childcare and in providing playgrounds that excite and extend our kids;
Reduce our City’s energy consumption by taking the lead in energy efficiency and renewable energy - reducing carbon and costs
